| 1. Application for admission must be made in the prescribed form available from the Jyothis office on payment of a registration fee of Rs. 50. Registration of an application does not guarantee selection for admission. In all future reference the registration number has to be quoted. |
| 2. The form of application duly filled in has to be reached at the office on or before the prescribed dates which will be published on the notice board. The entries shall be made carefully without leaving any room for doubt. |

| 4. At the time of admission he/she will be given an identity card. He/she has to produce it for all official transactions in the college and surrender it to the office on his/her leaving the college. Duplicate identity card will be issued only after giving a declaration by the student, counter signed by his/her parent/guardian that the original identity card was irrecoverably lost and on payment of Rs. 25/- |

| 5. The admission provided by the institution is only for a single year and admission to the next year will be given strictly based on the performance, attendance and % of marks in the previous year. |
| The regulations set forth in this hand book are intended to secure the good order necessary for the effective pursuit of knowledge, to help the students attain the level of quality work required of them and to ensure proper deportment of the entire body. |
| 1. The student’s registration in the college is considered an expression of willingness to abide by all the rules and regulations prevailing in the college. Every student therefore is committed to the observance of these rules. |

| 2. A student is in college primarily to achieve academic excellence and develop his total self for the service of his fellowmen. The standard set before each student presupposes maturity, responsibility and judicious use of all the opportunities made available by the college. |

Coming into the campus under the influence of alcohol or prohibited
drugs and misbehaving. |

Bringing or carrying within the campus fire arms or any lethal weapon. |

Physical assault on others. |
| 9. |
Gross and deliberate discourtesy to college personnel or students on

off the campus. |
| 10. |
Possession, use of trafficking of drugs on the campus. |

Vandalism in campus or of college property. |
| 12. |
Gambling in the campus. |
| 13. |
Tampering with and / or falsification of school or public documents. |
| 14. |
Preventing or threatening students or college staff or authorities from
discharging their duties, or from attending classes or from entering the
college premises. |
| 15. |
Frequent and contemptuous disregard of this disciplinary code or any
single offense considered serious in this same code. |
| 16. |
Any other ground similar or analogous to the foregoing. |

| Registration for University examination should be done by the students themselves.
Students may not organize programmes for collecting funds nor may they make any kind of fund – collection in the campus or arranging any kind of treats, without the explicit prior permission of the principal. |
| Dress Code |
1. |
The dress code for boys will be shirt – pants and that of girls will be churidhar with shawl. |
2. |
There will be a special uniform which must be worn on special occasions and on Wednesdays. Material for the same is available at the students facility counter in the college. |

Jeans, T- shirt and Short middies are not allowed to wear. |

| Examination and Proggress Assessment |
1. |
Monthly test papers, quarterly, Half yearly and model Examination will be conducted. |
| 2. |
Progress card will be sent to the guardian in each term and it should be returned after getting signed by the parent /guardian. |
|
| Other Items |

Fee should be paid on the 4th working day of each month before 3 PM. Other wise a fine of Rs.5 per day will be charged. |
